Hi Dana, it’s New Years Eve here in New Zealand, I’ve done a little crazy dancing and celebrating with my husband, which lets me off the hook from feeling anything other than grateful about being tucked up in bed by 11pm 😉
Just spent the last hour laughing SO HARD at your fabulous skits on YouTube with various generous ‘givers’…. You are comic genius! Have a wonderful 2015, you’re such a bright light 😀
Oh thank you!! And Happy New Year!! (A little late!)
‘Decluttering Kids’ rooms’, ha! DS just keeps growing out of his clothes, so the decluttering never really ends.
A happy 2015 to You and Yours, Nony!
What I really need to know is how to declutter my 14 old daughter’s room. She won’t let me touch anything and seems to have no desire to do it herself! The truth is I just have to wait until she is willing. It’s not going to be good if I force her and so far there are no bio hazards to be concerned about. 🙂
Here’s a guest post I wrote on another site a LONG time ago: http://homegrownmom.com/homemaking-2/homemaking-for-girls/how-to-deal-with-a-hopelessly-disorganized-daughter/3967
Oh, thank you!! We are about to be snowed in for a day or two, so we might be able to work on her room. A least a little bit!
Are you going to have a decluttering party this year with monthly linkups? I so enjoyed that last year!
Probably not. Though I’d love to feature decluttering posts if you have them! Those always fizzle toward the end of the month and that depresses me!!!
What I really need is a “How to Declutter Paperwork” link. When can I throw away the paid bills? Old bank statements? Income tax returns? When I get a new insurance policy, can I throw the old one away? What about junk mail?
Okay, I don’t keep junk mail, but seriously the paper clutter is getting WAYYY out of hand. Every time I think about it, and what has to be shredded before it can be tossed, and that I have to look through EVERY PIECE before I can just toss it in case there really is something important in there like a birth certificate, I just want to crawl under the covers and hibernate till spring. I have boxes and file cabinets and desk drawers full of paper. I need help.
I don’t have anything saying what to purge and what to keep (that scares me!) but here is something: https://www.aslobcomesclean.com/2014/03/how-to-reduce-paper-clutter/
