Today I:

Made bed.

Washed and dried a load of laundry.

Cleaned kitchen.

Emptied dishwasher

Swept kitchen

Did 5 minute walk-through

Checked bathrooms for clutter.

Did my last night’s routine – made lunches, laid out clothes, finished putting away laundry, and wiped down bathroom counters and toilets.

That’s two successful nights of my evening routine. I can definitely see what a difference it makes.

0shares 0 0 0Today I: Made bed. Cleaned kitchen. Swept kitchen. Checked bathrooms for clutter. Did 5 minute walk-through. Last night: Did my new nightly routine. Made lunches. Wiped down sinks and counters in bathrooms. Checked to be sure laundry was done. Laid out clothes for morning. I must say that actually having lunches AND […]

Speeding up Supper Prep – Chicken

October 21, 2009 By Dana White | 13 Comments

273shares 74 1 198 I’ve said many times that I’m good at excuses. I can come up with some doozies. What makes them so good is that there’s always truth in them. As I work on this process of changing my slobbish habits, I’m working on stopping the excuses. Really, that’s something I’ve been working […]

Daily Checklist

October 20, 2009 By Dana White | 1 Comment

1share 1 0 0I’ll say right now that I totally stink at laundry. Give me a task that can be started and completed in one time period, and I’ll do it. But give me a task that has to be remembered and come back to and my adhd totally kicks in. I went to bed […]

Two second tasks!

October 20, 2009 By Dana White | 16 Comments

100shares 1 0 99WHAT is my problem? I really irritate myself sometimes. I’ve been noticing some cobwebs by the ceiling in my hallway for probably a month now. A MONTH! Today I decided to do something about it. So I opened up the coat closet that I could reach without taking EVEN ONE STEP, and […]

Menu Plan Monday

October 19, 2009 By Dana White | 2 Comments

0shares 0 0 0Not feeling so good today. All the more reason to have a plan. I was craving chicken soup tonight, but hubby offered to grab dinner. Even better. I’ll make the soup tomorrow. When bone-in skin-on chicken breasts are under a dollar a lb, I love to buy a bunch and boil them. […]

My New Non-Negotiable Task for the Week

October 19, 2009 By Dana White | 6 Comments

1share 1 0 0I’m back! We actually got back on Saturday night, but yesterday was so busy and I was exhausted, so I’m just now getting back to the blog. The wedding went well, and I did forget mascara, the one thing my mother doesn’t have. Oh well, I just looked like I was half-asleep. […]

Quick tasks

October 16, 2009 By Dana White | Leave a Comment

0shares 0 0 0We’re heading out soon for the wedding, and I’ve been running around getting the stuff together for five people to spend the night away from home AND be beautiful the next day. I can be away from home and ugly, but away from home and pretty, is tough for me. Thankfully we’re […]
