Wet container solution- what works for me is I put the lid half way on. I click on one corner of the lid or one side so that the lid is attached to the container but there is a gap for the water to escape. They don’t stack as well but I don’t stack them, I keep them all in a big bowl. 🙂

I came to the conclusion that storing with lids was the best for me for much of the same reasons you did. It’s nice knowing someone else had the same thought.

I have lots of left over container’s so storing with the lids on wasn’t an option. I use a permanent marker and give each container and their lid a number, then all I have to do is match up the numbers to get a pair.

I listened. It made sense. I gave it a try. I wish I had taken before pics. I knew I had to many containers in there that never got used and I’m tired of the old butter containers.
It looks great now, hope it stays that way!

Maybe someone’s already suggested this, but did you know you can get deli containers on Amazon in different sizes, and they all use the SAME SIZE LID? There are freezer ones, too, which are great for batch cooking.

Listening to this podcast inspired me to tackle this area of my life. My husband was always complaining that he didn’t know where we kept everything. Now I have all of our storage containers in ONE drawer stacked with lids on the side.
