Later this week, I’ll be heading to the Savvy Blogging Summit to learn more about how to improve this little ol’ blog of mine.
And I’m so very thankful that part of my trip is being sponsored by Clever Girls Collective.
If you’ve been around here long, you know that I don’t apologize for wanting this blog to be my gig.
My paying gig.
I started it because I was desperate to write, but couldn’t justify getting consumed with writing at the expense of my home. So, I combined my need to write with my need to focus on my home . . . . and yada yada yada, the rest is history.
But sometimes, all of the possiblities (good, bad, and ugly) out there in the world of Blogging for Money can be overwhelming. Some work for me, and others make my stomach hurt.
When I ran across a post by my friend Mary at Giving Up on Perfect that was sponsored by a company through Clever Girls Collective, I couldn’t click over to Clever Girls fast enough! Her post was just like one she would normally write, and yet she was getting paid for it!
Ummm . . . yes, please?
I’ve worked with them on several projects now, and each experience has confirmed that . . . they’re awesome.
They totally get how companies and bloggers can work together. The company gets the word out about their product, and the blogger is able to maintain her artistic integrity as a writer.
If you are a blogger, I can’t recommend them highly enough. They are looking for bloggers who write quality content to join Clever Girls Collective.
Big bloggers, small bloggers, short and tall bloggers.
I encourage you to apply! Tell them Nony from A Slob Comes Clean sent you!
Here are some posts I’ve written for Clever Girls projects: What Flat Surfaces are Really For, No Time for Fruit Salad, The Scent of Clean.

OK, Nony I’m dying. DYING. One of my regular blog reads posted about how she was having such a hard time with her house, and a commenter pointed her to you, and I’m hooked. I navigated the crazy twisty-turny road that is your archives from August 2009 to now, and I want to cry because I’M FINISHED. Now you go in my bookmarks, and I can only read a day at a time! *back of hand to forehead*

OK, this wins my Favorite Comment of the Week prize, and it’s only Monday!!! I’m so glad you found me!

Ha! Glad you enjoyed it. I’m not a slob, but I’m also not Miss Mary Neat, and your blog has inspired me to get so much done.

Thanks for the link. I hope you have a FANTASTIC time at Savvy Blogging Summit – and I’m only a little jealous that I won’t be there with you! (I’m kidding. That’s a big fat lie. I’m soooo bummed to miss it!)
