Weekly non-negotiable

Here’s my non-negotiable for the week.

Do the tasks I already have as non-negotiables.

We’re now in the final stretch of Christmas prep/parties/general craziness. It is so easy for me to completely ignore our home in the midst of craziness. So, my goal for the week isn’t anything lofty. I’m not going to kid myself about adding some new task. Survival is my concern right now.

I want to go into the holidays without my home being a complete disaster. We’re having Christmas Eve celebration with the in-laws at our house, and I’d love to be able to spend Christmas Eve day cooking, smiling, and wrapping last minute gifts instead of yelling at everyone and frantically throwing things in closets.

There it is. It looks so simple when it’s written.

I read your book. Actually, it was the Audible format, so you read your book outloud to me. 🙂

Have been reading your blog from the beginning and have been amazed at how many tasks you added in every week!

I’m on day 10-ish and have been doing great at running the dishwasher at night and unloading it in the AM. And also sweeping the floor. 🙂 AND my husband and son heard you reading the book and they also started loading their dishes into the DW. It is like a miracle!
