I made another video! If you don’t see it below, go here to watch.
The basic story of this decluttering project is that I started it on February 18th, broke through the major overwhelm, and pulled out the easiest of the easy stuff to stick into an immediately overflowing donatable Donate Box. I also straightened a little.
Then life happened.
I got back to the decluttering project exactly one month later, on March 18th.
But because I’d used my handy-dandy strategy for decluttering without making a bigger mess, that was fine. And I enjoyed a not-perfect-but-better linen closet for that month.
Yay for that. Yay for proving to myself once again that going ahead and starting, going ahead and doing something, going ahead and JUST decluttering, even when I can’t guarantee that I’ll actually be able to do this perfectly, is good.
It’s all about the starting.
And the moral of that story isn’t even that I finally got back to working on the linen closet after a month. It’s that my life was easier for that month, even though the “project” wasn’t “finished.”
