This is honestly me. I think I am further down the line towards minimalism (with 7 kids, you have to be!!!), but I would read those same books about making awesome craft with this junk or that junk.
And then I would save junk. My mom brought me 7 moving boxes of stuff that could only be described as “create potential.” That was eye-opening. So that solved a lot of my problems for me as I angsted about the money wasted and just tried to tell myself to be realistic about what I will do (not what I *could* do).
