I’ve realized that I hadn’t shared some videos I put out last summer here on the blog!
Yes, I know it’s April.
I helped my friend Hali declutter a storage space just off her kitchen. It’s also her pantry, but because it’s so big it collects randomness from the rest of the house.

I love your videos so much! The pantry looks great.

Having no keep box has been a huge game changer for me. That and doing the easy stuff first has given me the motivation to actually get decluttering done. Not that I will ever really be done. But at least I am no longer totally overwhelmed and am actually making progress. Thank you!!!

Funny, I just got rid of some toddler plates today too. So hard, but not gonna use them anymore. . . even contemplated putting them in my kiddos keepsake boxes, but they are just plastic plates and I purposely have small keepsake boxes so not too much is kept! (Container concept!) I was able to do all that because of all the little mantras from your site that repeat over and over in my head when I declutter. Thank You!

Got your book & love it. I can relate to so many of your issues. In the last year or two l’ve been working on decluttering & reorganizing. I agree with lots of your tips & methods but the one that can’t work for me is the “take it to it’s home right away” plan. When I read that, I think you must live in a ranch house. I am 64 yrs. old & live in a 3 story house ( basement, first & second floors). If I stopped to put things away immediately (& they belonged on different floors) I would be exhausted after the first 3 things !!! I put the items in a tub at the top of the basement stairs & at the bottom of the stairs to the 2nd floor. I don’t allow myself to delay putting them away very long. It works for me !!

I love this! Whatever works for you is exactly what you should be doing!

Love the video but I have a question what if you wanted to keep something but don’t know where you would go to get it.
