Like so many others of your generation, you assume everyone has a smart phone with them at all times and are very adept at using one. I’m 83 years old and I’m lucky I can still find my car in my garage let alone in a huge mall parking lot. Why didn’t you just say to just press the horn button on my remote key ring and listen for the horn to blow? Then trudge out in the rain and keep blowing it until the mall police arrest me? They could then put me in their mall pickup and I can keep blowing the horn until they drive me to my car.

Her blog is also more or less aimed at housewives and stay-at-home moms. Those in the 20-45 yrs old range. Who almost all have a smartphone of some kind. I’m not trying to be a smarta**, but Nony started this blog to help herself and now she helps others through her experiences. Maybe when she is your age she will be able to write from those experiences, but for now, she writes about what work for her. You don’t have to do what she says, it just a suggestion.

Am I missing one of your podcasts? My list goes from Podcast 45 (listed on your blog as #46) to Podcast 47. I went back to podcast 44 and moved forward through the blog page by page and I still seem to be missing one according to the numbers.

I realize I’m listening to podcasts you published YEARS ago, but I know that you’ve also mentioned it makes you happy when people comment on your older podcasts. You asked about resolutions and how we are doing. Well this year as I was reflecting on making a “To Do” list of resolutions, I felt pretty strongly to instead be guided by Matthew 6:19-21
19 ¶ Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:
20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:
21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
I really wanted to shift my focus to have more time with my kids. They are my treasure. This is their one shot at ta childhood. I would say I’m doing mediocre at the moment. I was doing great the first 6 weeks of the year, but time to double down again. I have a bit of a love of children’s clothing which has lead to a lot of clutter on my time (selling & buying, ok, ok, more buying than selling) it also leads to physical clutter in my home all of which take away time from my children. I am working on de-cluttering the material and non-essential in my life & trying to re-focus on the treasures of my family.

“Live in your home” is like “Bloom Where You Are Planted.” Love this concept. Waiting for the future is a waste of TODAY. Thank you, Dana! 😀
