Actually, it’s Good Friday, and we’ve had a wonderful family day since the boys and hubby were out of school. We went to a nearby historical village, and my 7yo kept saying it was “like a field-trip, but even better because we’re with our family!”
Ummmm, music to this mommy’s heart.
Now that we’re home I thought I’d do a quick update and brag that I actually cleaned up the kitchen this morning. ON A DAY “OFF”!!! Perhaps I was motivated by the fact that ants have invaded, but I’m still going to brag.
I also wanted to point out that today is Mega-Swagbucks Friday, and I won 39 swagbucks doing a search today!!!
Since it’s Easter, you know that Christmas is right around the corner (sortof) and if you haven’t signed up for Swagbucks yet, you should sign up now so you can start earning Amazon gift cards to use when it’s time to do your Christmas shopping! If you’re not sure what Swagbucks is, you can read a more thorough explanation here.
I also want to share something Swagbucks is doing that is near and dear to my heart. My niece’s husband is from Japan, and so the recent disaster there has grieved us greatly as we know how much he aches for his friends and family. Swagbucks is currently taking SB donations to aid in relief efforts for Japan in the aftermath of the devastating earthquake that hit them two weeks ago. They’ve already hit the $20,000 mark. They will continue to collect Swag Bucks until Monday the 2nd of May at 12pm PDT.
If you’re not already a member of Swagbucks, you can sign up here through my referral link, and use the code HelpJapan during registration to earn an additional 50 swagbucks. That code expires on May 2.
If you’re already a member, you can go here to read more details about their Japan Relief Efforts.
Have a wonderful Easter!
