April’s Decluttering Update
Don’t forget that Sunday is May 1st. I know. I can’t believe it either. I’ll put up the monthly decluttering update linky on Sunday night, so be sure to link up a blog post or share your progress and/or struggles in the comments. (I won’t mess it up this time!) Those who get their links in within the first day generally get between 35 and 50 hits, so it’s worth linking up early!
Anyone need an entertaining, informative, and inspiring speaker?
If you are in the DFW area (or within a few hours away) and are interested in having me speak at your moms’ group or similar meeting, please email me at aslobcomesclean @ gmail . com (with spaces removed, of course!). I’d like to start speaking to groups in the fall, and need some people who are willing to be my guinea pigs first audience. Small groups are fine! I promise to be funny and I’ll wear make-up and everything!
Referral and affiliate links and such:
Thanks so much to those of you who signed up for Swagbucks last week using my link! If you haven’t signed up yet, you can sign up here through my referral link, and use the code HelpJapan during registration to earn an additional 50 swagbucks, getting 80 swagbucks total to start you out. That code expires on May 2. (Sorry! This offer has expired.) If you’re not sure what Swagbucks is, you can read a thorough explanation here.

I finally finished decluttering our office supplies today! It only took me about 10 days.
In the last 12 years, this was my 2nd time through the chests of drawers with pencils, notepads, paperclips, etc. and my 1st time through the piles of folders, envelopes, and papers.
I donated or tossed about 60% of the stuff, still retaining a cushion of folders and papers, but a much smaller one. I established a printer supply shelf and dropped off the empty ink cartridges for recycling. I organized all the drawers with dividers. I organized a few larger things on 1 shelf and freed up the other one for games.
I emptied 1 chest of drawers for my spouse to use next to his desk. Boy does that look more tidy! Spouse plans to take pictures of our donations for a coworker to choose for his homeschooled kids. We’ll donate the rest next weekend.
