Podcast #29 from ASlobComesClean.com - How to Have a Great Garage Sale! (Getting People There!)

After two weeks of getting a podcast up on time, I’m late again.

If you’ve been missing earlier podcasts, I generally try to not make these my top post on the blog. (Mostly because my mother complains when I do!) That means that when I put one out, there is also a post goes up that day as well.

That’s not going to happen on a Saturday!

Finishing the Big Gameroom Decluttering Project

May 9, 2014 By Dana White 16 Comments

290shares 280 0 10 I’ve already told you how I was in a funk on Saturday. A what-is-the-POINT kind of funk. Unfortunately, I know just how to cure those kinds of funks. Declutter. So I did. I decided I was FINALLY going to FINISH the HUGE project in my gameroom. The one I’d been pretending […]

Hope for My Kids??

May 8, 2014 By Dana White 15 Comments

166shares 159 0 7 Last week, as we were barely hanging on in the midst of final-week-of-rehearsals craziness, I was experiencing what you might call . . . despair. A toilet had overflowed because a child claimed there was no toilet paper left in the house and had therefore chosen to use a paper towel. […]

Four Crazy-Easy, Super-Quick Dinners

May 7, 2014 By Dana White 20 Comments

1.2Kshares 922 0 242 Last week was Show Week. My two boys were in a play and I was directing. A busy (somewhat-stressed) mom plus limited time to get dinner on the table makes it hard to resist the allure of a drive thru window . . . but I succeeded! (Monday through Thursday. I […]

The Gift of Clean? Yes, Please!

May 6, 2014 By Dana White 9 Comments

71shares 68 0 3This post is sponsored by Scotch-Brite! Mother’s Day is coming. Over the years, I’ve done some Mother’s Day training in our home. Since no one who matters will listen to my suggestion that Father’s Day should come before Mother’s Day (so moms could demonstrate proper celebration procedures), I’ve had to create a […]

Parting With An Old Friend Who Just Doesn’t Support Me the Way She Used To

May 5, 2014 By Dana White 22 Comments

1.0Kshares 951 0 51 Dear Friend, It’s not you. It’s me. Fine. It IS you. Here’s the thing. We’ve been together for years. They were good years. Really. It’s not that I’m ungrateful. But things have changed. I’ve changed. You’ve changed. Part of that is just how life goes. Our relationship, naturally, meant stretching and […]

Grandmas and Forgetting and All That

May 2, 2014 By Dana White 19 Comments

309shares 306 0 3 Look what my mother brought my kids for Easter: You see something fun. You see kids running around the yard, joyfully making a colorful mess. Cleaning In the Midst of a Mess

May 1, 2014 By Dana White 37 Comments
