You spoke to me directly today. I love your analogies of the dig to clutter control. I can look at my house in a different way now. I tend to listen to your podcasts that specifically talk about areas of cleaning/clutter. But with the idea of draining the bathtub and treating things as treasure clicked with my mindset. I am currently looking at a “throw it and run” area that I have no clue what is underneath the visible layer. Setting a goal to work on it just 5 minutes a day while keeping your podcast in mind.
Thank you for your honesty, I find myself relating to you again and again. I’ve now acceptedthat my house will never be the magazine dream, because that’s just not who I am. But with time and perseverance it will be acceptable for me to have people come in without having to warn them first.
