You do know that when I talk about “reality” I’m talking about my own reality, right?
OK. Good.

“Reality trumps awesome.” I think that’s my new favorite phrase. For so very many reasons. Thank you!

Love your podcasts, I’ve listened to them all. I even purchased and read your e-books!
I mean no disrespect but you are way off the mark about clinical hoarding. It is a mental disorder about the delusion that garbage is worth something. It is not, as you mentioned, an urge to recycle and indecision as to where else these things should be placed.
Please do some research to see if I have a valid point.
I use the dishwasher and take the dishwasher things out every single morning now, thank you!

Good podcast, Dana. Trying to recycle in my area is a pain, so I don’t do much – if any. And I don’t feel guilty – much. Someday, I might get better about it, but as long as the stuff isn’t in my house, I can live with it.
Just wanted to tell you that for 99% of the sanitizing in my house, I use the drugstore variety peroxide. After doing a little research, I decided I’d rather use that than bleach and most other cleaners. I do keep a spray bottle of Lysol for pet accidents – because I hate bleach. And for those kinds of messes, if I can’t smell it, my brain won’t accept that it’s working. Lysol seems to be the lesser of two evils. 😀

I just wanted to share this comment with you. My four year old and I were driving home from some errands today and I had this podcast playing over the car stereo. We pulled into the driveway and once the stereo is off my daughter said “Wow, that’s a really nice lady!”

“Recycling is something everyone should do, whenever possible…”
“Possible equals, it’s really going to happen, not just what should happen…”
As I add a can to the recycling pile ‘I’m going to take to my dad’… I should put that in the car right now… But I’ll forget it and have cans spilled all over… Oh, the struggles of a slob >.<
