It’s officially back to school season. We start in two weeks.
Even I, the Queen of Denial, am printing out school supply lists. Blech.
Knowing that many of you are starting your Real New Year (every mom knows the REAL New Year is the beginning of the school year) even sooner than I am, I’m putting my 2 e-book set on sale through Labor Day. SALE HAS ENDED.
For 5.00 (which is the normal cost for one e-book), you get both 28 Days to Hope for Your Home (Not for the Mildly Disorganized) AND Drowning in Clutter? (Don’t Grab a Floatie, Drain the Ocean!) using the code: BTS14
If you’re overwhelmed, these are specifically written to help you not be overwhelmed anymore. While the blog is all about my personal experiences, the e-books are instructional. I’ve taken those personal experiences and used them to create guides to help you get your home under control. My hope is that you’ll get farther faster.
Be sure to click on the book descriptions in the box above is you’re not sure if these are for you.
You can also purchase the Kindle version on Amazon here. (No code is needed on Amazon.)

I have a surefire way to the clutter COMPLETELY GONE from your house!!! (Though I don’t really recommend it…)
Have a tree fall on your house in a windstorm.
There is no longer one piece of clutter in my house! Of course, there is also no furniture. Or clothing. Or food. Or… well… anything! 🙁
It’s all in the garage and a storage unit. 🙁
But at least my HOUSE is finally CLUTTER FREE!!!!! 🙂
Dana White says
Oh no! I’m so sorry to hear this, Alene! I hope everyone is okay!
Alene says
All people safe, so the rest is just inconvenience!

Bought both books today. Tomorrow is day 1. Excited. Scared. We’ll go with curious and delighted to see where this goes. I can tell you that by peeking at week 2, I am going to have to buy a broom. 🙂 Thanks for writing the map Dana.
Dana White says
Hahaha about buying the broom!!! Love it! And you can do this. Really.

Just ordered your books, and I’m hoping for a miracle. It’s horrible – feeling ashamed of the mess and praying that car is just using your driveway to turn around. I’m hoping that I will make positive changes…if so, I’ll keep you posted. 🙂

Awwww man! I am just seeing the sale! I bought 28 Days of Hope only a few days ago. Love it! Is there anyway that I can still get in on the deal? I would love to have Drowning in Clutter as well. Thank you for putting yourself out there, and giving me hope!
Dana White says
Sure, Jodi! Do you still have the email from your purchase? Just reply to it or send me an email letting me know the email you used for purchase.

Hi, Nony.~
I found you on Podcruncher a few weeks ago– I am addicted to your home-making-honesty!! About to start podcast #7, and thought I would check out your blog– happy to have found your e-books on sale!! Unexpected surprise! Love my kindle & Love listing to you– I clean while I do and it’s been a much happier affair (and more of a stress-reliever, too)!~ 😉 Our sink has stayed clear of all dishes since I found you– thank you! ! 🙂
P.S. Not sure how much blog-hopping you do, but loving your home as you do, you might enjoy an upcoming series on Womenlivingwell.org– beginning in September on “Making your Home a Haven.” I have burned a couple of candles a week ever since last year’s series. Both of you make me want to show better love to my wonderful home. Thankful for people who write to encourage others! Consider me encouraged~ Thanks, again. Tiffany

I’m pretty sure I found you thru a link on flylady. You are much more my style! I relate so very much to what you write. Its been very inspiring to read your blog and I was hoping to buy the drowning book next payday then say this and just bit the bullet. I’ve already implemented the empty sink philosophy and your post on what containers are really meant for was an epiphany for me also. I actually thought the answer before yesterday was to just buy more of the confounded things. I’ve bookmarked the blog entry on decluttering clothes for my next day off.
Many blessings to you and yours for what you are doing for the rest of us slobs! 🙂

Just read the sample of the 28 day book. You hit the nail on the head. Just doing the dishes daily is hard. I just started focusing on my dishes this week! It even spurred me to clean the trash out of my car. It’s finally warm in Maine! I try to do everything in one day get overwhelmed and give up. Gonna give it a shot!

Love it!!

I kept resisting getting 28 Days because I already had Drowning in Clutter – but my house still wasn’t clean, so just before Christmas I bought the 2-book set when it was on sale. I then left town for a week and a half. However, I’m now back and am on Day 5! My dishes are clean – even the pan I used to leave to “soak” because it didn’t go in the dishwasher. My kitchen is also cleaner and tidier than it’s been in months – my husband even complimented me on it! I can actually see some of my counters and my table was been clear and clean for dinner last night! I was already running the dishwasher most nights because of your podcast, but the book has motivated me to actually finish the task and do the dishes that don’t go in the dishwasher too :p. I realize some of this may be New Year momentum, but really feel like 28 Days is making a real difference – after just 5 days, I’m actually starting to have real hope that I can have a home that people are comfortable in and I can feel comfortable inviting them to visit. Thank you for everything! I’d’ve posted this on your Facebook page, but didn’t want to risk someone I know (or my mother!) Seeing it :p.

Oh I love this, Amy. J.!!! Thank you for leaving this comment and I love hearing that you have real hope. It’s really possible!!!!
