I . . . am one dedicated Slob Blogger.
That’s right.
First of all, I post an end-of-a-long-day, when-did-my-roots-get-that-bad picture for all the world to see just to prove that I did my Daily Checklist as promised.
On a Friday.
Night.
Like, I was gone all day doing Christmas shopping, and would have felt completely justified not doing my stupid checklist.
But noooo, I said that I would do it Daily in December and today is December second and I’m not quite ready to fail.
Besides . . . I do believe my brilliant plan was to purposely challenge myself during this month that is generally full of wonderful, totally legit excuses.
Since I left to go shopping pretty much right after I did the school drop off this morning, I emptied the dishwasher this afternoon. This FRIDAY afternoon. Then I cleaned the kitchen, and led a joyous group of three children in doing a five-minute pick-up.
Then . . . (get this) . . . I swept the kitchen and closed cabinet doors and checked bathrooms for clutter and wiped down bathrooms . . . ON A FRIDAY NIGHT!!!
Wow. I’m committed.
How did your day go? Was your attitude better than mine? (Not too terribly hard!)
Wow. So now that we’re all Christmas-ey around here . . . come join in this Christmas link-up. Because . . . really . . . that’s what this is all about, right? Making a great home that’s inviting and warm and where we have counter space to cook, and cleared tables to do crafts.
All of the bloggers who have been doing the 5 Days of Christmas are hosting a joint link-up. Anything Christmas goes, it doesn’t have to be about cleaning and it doesn’t have to be new! And if you enter your blog post on one of our blogs, it will show up on all of them!
Join in! Just remember to link back to one of the blogs hosting the linky!

Well for me the 2nd was nearly a bust. I did work a 12 hour shift at the hospital. So when I got home o only did the getting the kids to bed and feeding myself some supper. I didn’t even empty the dishwasher 🙁 But I did get all of the tubs that held all of our decorations back up in the attic………err…..ok, maybe I got them to the garage and hubby carried them up to the attic 🙂
It’s okay, Amanda! Tomorrow’s a new day, and putting up the decorations is a BIG DEAL!!!
OH NONY!!! This picture made me laugh. You look almost MAD about that darn checklist….. P.S. ALMOST DONE (as in caught up to your real life blogging- lol)
