Meaning, I cleaned it without having to first de-clutter for hours.
Such a weird feeling. I hate to say it (because of the dread that it will immediately fall victim to my kids playing “Hoarders”), but I think . . .maybe . . . that last decluttering/organization worked.
Can I just say that this whole “cleaning like normal people do” thing is kind of nice.
Surreal, but nice.
I’m guessing that this is how they do it. Walk into a room, put away a few stray items, and then get down to the dusting and sweeping and cobweb swiping.
Not that they have a literal inch-deep-of-dirt in some corners like I did, but still . . .
I really think I could learn to like this.

It is a little – no, REALLY freaky when you start to enjoy the things you “avoided” before… like have a cleared off counter/table/shelf… It makes you start to look at lots of things differently… now when I see someone’s very orderly home/car/whatever, instead of thinking – “man they have some serious OCD” I started thinking – “what kind of schedule do they have to keep it looking like this” SOOOOOOOOOO weird!!!

please, tell us, how long did it take you to clean the playroom this time?

Yeah for you!!! I am not there yet, but every week I am taking stuff to Charity and selling a few more things and getting rid of something and it is looking better and better and it is a great feeling!
