My New Non-Negotiable Task for the Week

October 19, 2009 By Dana White 6 Comments

I'm back! We actually got back on Saturday night, but yesterday was so busy and I was exhausted, so I'm just now getting back to the blog. The wedding went well, and I did forget mascara, the one thing my mother doesn't have. Oh well, I just looked like I was half-asleep. The great thing about having the flower girl for a daughter is that no one … [Read more...]

Quick tasks

October 16, 2009 By Dana White Leave a Comment

We're heading out soon for the wedding, and I've been running around getting the stuff together for five people to spend the night away from home AND be beautiful the next day. I can be away from home and ugly, but away from home and pretty, is tough for me. Thankfully we're spending the night with my mom who probably has whatever I'll forget. … [Read more...]

Tackle it . . . whenever

October 15, 2009 By Dana White 7 Comments

This was supposed to be my Tackle It Tuesday post. I gave myself 10 minutes to get this done, but then the phone rang twice, and my daughter walked in with a kooshball pencil topper stuck in her hair. Really stuck. As in, it looked like I just might have to cut it out. But I didn't. Anyway, it's now Thursday and I'm posting this. Even though … [Read more...]

Sitting is UNDERrated

October 15, 2009 By Dana White Leave a Comment

I have been neglecting the blog for the past two days. I haven't had more than a few seconds to sit down, much less write. Today was supposed to be another hectic day. I had a meeting this morning and would like to have shopped for some shoes for the wedding (which all three of my kids are in) this weekend. I probably would have been out all day … [Read more...]

Kitchen Disaster

October 14, 2009 By Dana White 2 Comments

My kitchen is a disaster. I did empty my dishwasher and make my bed and put the load of clothes in the dryer. And I wiped down the bathrooms last night. That's it for my tasks. This is the first time I've sat down all day. And yes, I'm writing a post rather than doing what I should be doing. I'm just so exhausted and my head hurts and I'm mad … [Read more...]

Oops

October 13, 2009 By Dana White 1 Comment

I did my daily checklist for today and never even thought about my new daily task. Welcome to my world of scatterbrainedness! I did think of it a little while ago and did do it. I purposely washed a load of sheets today because they make a big impact but are quick to fold and put away. So, day one=one load of laundry completely done from start … [Read more...]

Menu Plan Monday

October 12, 2009 By Dana White Leave a Comment

Today has been so fun, but I have to get this done. Menu planning has helped so much over the last several weeks in my quest for an orderly home. I'm not feeling terribly creative this week. All three of my kids are in a wedding on Saturday which means that I have to drive 45 minutes one way to get my daughter's shoes, and 45 minutes the other … [Read more...]
