I loved this email from one of you (who gave me permission to share). I especially love that she knew how to help her sister!
Hey Dana,
“I wanted to email you for several reasons. First, thank you, although I didn’t understand where you were coming from at first as I have a very different outlook. I didn’t understand slob vision but I kept listening to your podcast as I like your view on life and love the sound of your voice. I would pretend you are my friend.
After 2022 being a complete horror story for me (lost 2 grandbabies and my mom that year) I so understand where you are coming from now. I didn’t see the mess, it took a good friend to point it out.My sister (she is in New Brunswick, I’m in Alberta) phoned and was telling me how overwhelmed she is with her husband pushing her to deal with an entire room filled with boxes. So I told her about your system. She grabbed a box while we were on the phone. I helped her deal with that one box.3 weeks later, she phones me and tells me that she has dealt with one bag and 2 boxes since then. Of course I told her how proud I am of her, and her husband is no longer upset because even though it is going slow he sees that she is at least trying and making progress after years of ignoring it.Growing up, we did the piles and made a mess spending the entire day to do this job. Explaining your system and doing it myself has made a difference. We live very busy lives so the no mess system works well. The take it there now has been a godsend.Again, thank you for all you do and sharing your journey.”

Hello Dana,
Always look forward to your videos etc, and enjoy the reminders of Take it there Now. It has been such a change for me since using this tip. I used to say “I’ll just put xxxxx here and move it later, of course, later never came and the things started to multiply. I just love your system. It is fantastic, simple to do, and it makes a lot of sense. Thank you very much. – Katherine

Dear Dana
Thank you so very much for sharing your method with all of us. When I heard of your container method, something clicked in my brain, I added your books to my Audible, blazed through them, started watching you on YouTube and knew that this was something I could do. Some days, it’s just 5 or 10 minutes of decluttering and somedays much more. My whole mindset has shifted. I don’t have to buy more bookcases, I can keep just what I know that I love and will refer back to. I’m a spinner and a knitter. I am getting rid of yarn that I will never use. I don’t accept yarn when someone offers it to me. Yay me! I haven’t worried about my husband’s stuff, but just by watching me, he has started going through his stuff. We also lost a son 2 1/2 years ago. We are ready to tackle his room. Every box to donate and every bag of trash makes me feel lighter. I always felt so overwhelmed by my clutter and the old way of pulling everything out was so exhausting and then dealing with the additional mess for days or weeks wasn’t something I felt that I could do. Now slowly I feel I’m making headway. I gifted my sister your decluttering book and now we compare notes and send each other pictures of what we have decluttered. Also, my mindset has changed about bringing more stuff into my house. Anyway, just wanted to thank you, you’ve blessed my life by sharing yours.
