Taking the Day Off to Snuggle

I had a post planned for today about how my chore chart has been working with the boys for the last month. I was excited to write it, but alas, mommyhood must take priority as I have a 3 year old with an earache who needs to snuggle. I’ll hopefully get it up for next Works for Me Wednesday.

A few random questions for my loyal readers, if you don’t mind.

I’m on twitter as Nony the Slob if you want to follow me there. However, I have no idea what to do there. Any advice on what you’d like from me if you were to follow me there? Do people use it mainly for post alerts, or what?

Also, Lauren (Laundry Mama) suggested that I add a tweet button. I was totally flattered, and tried to figure out how to do that. (I’m NOT tech savvy.) I thought I had added a “share this” button to appear at the bottom of posts, and I was very excited when I saw it actually appear . . . . one day. But since then, I haven’t seen it. Is it there? And if not, do any of you have any idea how to work with those things?

OK, off to snuggle and pick up kids.

Happy snuggling… hope the little one feels better soon.

I have to admit I have barely peeked at Twitter since Thanksgiving. I don't have much to say, just wanted to keep up with some blog friends. Just last night, I put them in my google reader for a trial. I did that for my hubs's tweets so I didn't miss anything, and I like it! It takes a while for the tweets to show up, though, and then they all come at once.

Anyway, a lot of people DO use it for post alerts. (And I gotta admit, that isn't my favorite thing. I KNOW that since they're in my reader. But everybody does it…) Many, many others use it as more of a friend thing – sharing little tidbits and cute things their kiddos say, etc.

As for the rest, I'm as clueless as you are. :>)

Woo Hoo! I'm off to find you on Twitter.

I am so not tech savvy either – you are not alone!

Off to tweet a few of your posts!
