I’m not in the mood today, to be honest, but I’m going to do a menu plan because I have seen in the last few weeks how much it helps me. I’m trying so hard to focus on the decluttering that I know I could easily end up scrambling for dinner if I don’t plan ahead.
Monday – hamburger patties and mac-n-cheese
Tuesday – Crockpot BBQ chicken sandwiches
Wed – spaghetti
Thursday – chicken w/biscuits that I didn’t end up making last week
Friday – dinner out
Saturday – pigs in a blanket and oven baked fries
Sunday – leftovers

I hope you are posting your BBQ chicken recipe to Crock Pot Wednesday this week. Mister Linky is up and ready for you already.
The Crockpot BBQ Chicken is delicious! I didn’t have bread, so I had one breast with side vegetables, then, later in the week, chopped the other up for BBQ loaded baked potatoes.
I’ve spent the summer reading your older posts and trying to implement some of the changes in my own home. Sweeping the kitchen floor is one of them. Menu planning is the other task I’m working on. I try to plan at least 2 crock pot meals a week that leave me with leftovers for another night. Knowing what’s for dinner and having all the ingredients in the house means I can make a last minute change if I have to. I’m amazed at how much less stressful dinnertime is as a result. Why didn’t I do this years ago? But, I’m enjoying it now.
