Here’s how the Eat at Home Meal Planning Service works!
You become a member, paying for either one month, three months or a year at a time. Remember that if you get in on one of the sales, you get your discount for as long as you’re a member. So if you sign up by February 1-8, using the code DINNERSREADY, you’ll get 30% off now and 30% off every time you automatically renew. (<-FYI, that isn’t normal, and I’m amazed and impressed Tiffany does this!)
Once you are a member, you’ll have a login for the site and then you’ll see this:

Except your computer screen might be cleaner . . .
The no flour/no sugar plan is just the first one listed here. There are four different plans, and you have access to all of them with your membership. I like this because you are able to pick and choose what works best for your family that week. Other plans included are the Traditional, Whole Food Plant Based, and Instant Pot/Slow Cooker plans.

You can see the the entire month’s plans at once, and there are different options for how to download. We have five adult appetites in our family and like to have leftovers, so I chose the 6-8 serving plan.

The menu plan for the week has a grocery list that’s color coded. We never make every single meal from a plan. I choose our favorite ones for the days when I’ll be cooking, and then I get the ingredients that match the color of the recipes I want to cook. This is easy to do, looking at on my phone if I’m in the store, but I mostly prefer to order the ingredients for grocery pickup at my local Walmart. I look through the list on my laptop, and make the order on the grocery app on my phone.
Here’s a screenshot of my grocery app below:

Then, I just use the recipes to make our meals!

There are a lot of great meal planning services out there, and the key is to decide which one works best for you.
Here’s what I like about the Eat at Home service:
Four different menu options each week. If you’re like me, your eating habits change depending on your mood and how busy your week is. This allows for that.
The recipes are simple and family friendly. Did you notice that the recipe I showed in the photo is a 15 minute one? Right. Tiffany is a real mom (I’ve met a few of her kids!) and she is completely realistic about getting dinner on the table with a busy family. Some of the meals are more complicated than that one, but never difficult. And the ingredients are ones you’re used to seeing in your store.
I truly believe a meal planning service is an excellent, cost-effective way to outsource some of the stress of home management.
