Menu Plan Monday – Back to It

I didn’t menu plan last week. Ironically, it was because I spent Monday working on eliminating the clutter corner in our office/gameroom and writing up the post about it for orgjunkie.com.

And of course . . . I regretted it. Does anyone else find themselves checking their own blog to see what’s for supper that night? Last week, with nothing to check, we ended up ordering pizza one night. For the kids, a fabulous departure from the normal weeknight routine. For us, a frustrating departure from the weekly budget.

So this week, I’m back to meal planning.

Monday – Beef Stroganoff

Tuesday – crockpot BBQ chicken sandwiches

Wednesday – chicken fried rice

Thursday – Crockpot enchilada casserole

Friday – Out to eat!

Saturday – Homemade pizza

Sunday – Spaghetti

Check out other menu plans at Orgjunkie.com.

My Favorite February Post

March 7, 2010 By Dana White 1 Comment

0shares 0 0 0I’m joining in at Elizabeth Esther’s Saturday Evening Blog Post where bloggers are linking up their favorite post from February. I chose “All Housekeeping Points Expire at Midnight” because it pretty much explains so much of my slob-problem. Go check out the blog party over at Elizabeth Esther’s blog. It’s a great […]

My Decluttering Progress for February

March 5, 2010 By Dana White 1 Comment

0shares 0 0 0February flew by. When I realized a few minutes ago that I hadn’t written a post about my February decluttering progress to link up at Amy’s Finer Things, I clicked on my decluttering tab at the bottom of the page, only to verify that I haven’t done as much in the past […]

Bursting my Scrubbing Bubble

March 5, 2010 By Dana White 3 Comments

1share 1 0 0I have such a long way to go in this journey. My house is looking tons better overall, but I am still so quick to ditch the daily habits that make the difference between continuing the improvement and sliding back down into chaos. The past three days have been crazy. A very […]

The Problem with "Just in Case"

March 4, 2010 By Dana White 11 Comments

100shares 100 0 0 I was watching the Three Stooges a few days ago. (With the kids . . . it’s not exactly my show of choice for “me” time.) This episode began with them living in a shack. In the shack, Curly was making some soup, I believe it was tire soup or something […]

Taking the Day Off to Snuggle

March 3, 2010 By Dana White 5 Comments

0shares 0 0 0I had a post planned for today about how my chore chart has been working with the boys for the last month. I was excited to write it, but alas, mommyhood must take priority as I have a 3 year old with an earache who needs to snuggle. I’ll hopefully get it […]

Bacon Egg and Cheese Breakfast Pockets – Freezer Cooking

March 2, 2010 By Dana White 35 Comments

1.9Kshares 850 2 1.0K  The picture below is my smallest, ugliest one. And I think it looks pretty fabulous. And it tasted even better! My original plan turned out to be a little more than I could do, but I was determined to make the breakfast pockets. I really want to have more substantial quick […]

Squeezing in my Daily Checklist

March 2, 2010 By Dana White 1 Comment

0shares 0 0 0Today has been a bit crazy. I haven’t had tons of commitments or anything, but I really wanted to make the breakfast pockets and participate in Freezer Cooking Days at Money Saving Mom. Not a problem, except that it’s also Tuesday, my new day to clean bathrooms. Not a problem, except that […]

2shares 0 1 1 February is over. Oh my. At the beginning of February, I joined in on Orgjunkie’s 28 Day Organizing Challenge. So today I’m going to reveal the results of my labor from the entire . . . morning. Yes, morning. I’m a procrastinator, and although I thought I’d work on this little […]
