Some people are visual organizers, and you might be one. BUT you can’t actually know that until you declutter. If you’re scared to put things “away” because you fear you’ll forget where you put it or forget that you have it, you need to listen to this one.

You are talking about not caring to organuse, declutter first! My question is – when do I know that I decluttered enough to care about organising? I s there a moment when you can say I decluttered enough? And when will I recognise that moment?

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!!
I didn’t know it, but I needed this *exact* podcast! My unique situation that probably isn’t actually that unique is that once I put something away, I forget I even own it. Obviously, this means I need to leave all the important things out where I can see them. Yes, I know my apartment looks cluttered but I’ll get around to unpacking someday, then I can finally deep clean… you know the rest.
I love you so much and thank you for being so relatable! xoxoxo

My problem with out of sight , out of mind is I keep out things I need to do so I can remember I need to do them. Of course they get buried and I never do them. Bills to research, cds to copy for my parents, things I need to look up, etc. Any suggestions about this type of out of sight objects?

Reading Dana’s blogs for 5 or less minutes was so much more efficient for me. I can’t listen for this long, so now i have stopped!

I just went through a major declutter and your two questions were gold! My house feels so much better and I can actually find stuff. I too have found that having clear spaces is wonderful. I’m not embarrassed to have company drop by any more. I have added a third question to avoid the piles – does this REALLY belong here? (I.e. just dropping something in a pile). Then I ask the two questions. Works to keep the clutter from returning. Thank you Dana 💕
