A Double Giveaway of a Great New Recipe E-Book

August 1, 2011 By Dana White |

When I went to the Savvy Blogging Summit, I was excited to re-connect with one of my favorite bloggers.

Tiffany, from Eat at Home, is a mom of four who is passionate about cooking meals for her family.

Like me.

And  . . . she’s realistic.

Like I strive to be.

Her blog’s tag-line is: Everyday food for busy people.

LOVE it.

So, when Tiffany mentioned that she was going to be launching her first e-book soon, and that it was a collection of meals that can be made in . . . . FIFTEEN MINUTES . . . I immediately told her that I’d love to help her promote it.

Because putting home-cooked meals on the table for my family with as little hassle as possible . . . is a perfect fit for this blog.

She sent me a review copy of Feast in 15, and I’m already planning to make three meals out of it this week, including pizza quesadillas and meatball gyros.

And the e-book only costs 4.99!!!

But the e-book doesn’t only contain recipes. It gives you the “how” of making quick meals for your family.  There are chapters on which kitchen tools are best, how to pre-cook your meats (THE most important factor in being able to get a meal on the table quickly), which foods are “naturally fast” as well as a chapter on simple side dishes.

Obviously, if you want to serve home-cooked meals in a hurry, you have to set yourself up for success.  Tiffany does a great job of providing the information you need to do that.  She even includes two different menus with grocery lists.

Since this style of cooking is right up my alley, there were some recipes that made me say, “Oh yeah . . . I need to make that.”  But there were others that made me say “Oh wow! I would never have thought of that!”  I’m so excited to have this resource.

I’m also excited that Tiffany has offered to let me do a giveaway here . . . with TWO winners! All you need to do to enter is leave a comment.

AND, if you want to go ahead and purchase your copy of Feast in 15, she said that she will refund the purchase price if you win.  There’s no need to wait until the giveaway is over to get your copy!

Like I said, all you have to do to enter is leave a comment below.  If you’d like extra entries, you can:

Subscribe to A Slob Comes Clean by email or in a reader.

“Like” A Slob Comes Clean on Facebook.

Link to ANY post from A Slob Comes Clean on Facebook.  You can do this by using the little pop-up icons at the bottom of the post you want to share, or by clicking on the title of the post, and then copy/pasting the URL into the “link” box on Facebook.  If you want your link to show up on my facebook wall, just put @ASlobComesClean in your status with the link.  You might choose one of My Methods posts, or share my special brand of crazy with Defining Normal.  Or you can play down the slob-thing with one of my recipes.

Just be sure to leave a separate comment for each entry!

NOTE:  Giveaway is now over.

This giveaway will close on Thursday evening, August 4th, at 9 p.m. Central time.

The links to Feast in 15 . . . . they’re my affiliate links.

***A few other notes – I’ll post July’s monthly Decluttering Update tomorrow, Tuesday.  Be ready to share your progress or your frustrations in the comments or by linking up a blog post.  And be sure to check back later this week for another giveaway!

I hope I win! With three kids in three sports, I am always looking for great meals outside of the crockpot! A family favorite for us is Bisquick Cheeseburger pie-made it this weekend with ground turkey. But that takes at least a half hour! Another of our family’s favorites is Bacon Egg and Cheese pasta-ready in less than a half hour. I really can’t think of any meals ready in less than 15 minutes. I must go buy this book right now!

Does slavishly following you since March count?

Loved the Ghengis Khan declutter technique. It’s what I think is really great is not just keep your house clean for your family, but teaching them how and why.

I love the idea of the ebook, because maybe if I start cooking meals that don’t take so much time I can start feeding my family vegetables and salads again.
