Menu Plan Monday – May 2, 2011

It felt weird to type “May” just now.

May means baseball season.  Which means multiple nights a week at the ball-fields.  Which means menu planning is totally necessary if I don’t want to give us the excuse to get fried chicken or pizza three times this week.

Mmmmm.  Fried chicken.

Mmmmm.  Pizza.

Oh.  Sorry.

Better get that menu planned.

Monday – Chicken Rollatini with Spinach Alla Parmigiana  Both games start at 8:15 (Yes, I KNOW!) so we can have a fairly normal evening at home since we don’t have to head up to the fields until it’s almost bedtime.  Not that that’s a normal meal for us.  I’m feeling fancy with these Weight Watchers Recipes I’m trying.

Tuesday -Beef Stroganoff

Wednesday – Spaghetti with Meatballs

Thursday – Sub sandwiches at the ballpark.  Cuz y’know, we’ll have one game at 6:15 and one at 8:15.

Friday – Out to Eat.

Saturday – Grill out burgers.

Sunday – Mother’s Day.  I’m not cookin’.

Check out more menu plans over at Orgjunkie.com.

Yum! I like the variety of your meals this week. I actually made a meal plan for this week, but things have gone a little wonky around here. My 4 yr old broke her leg, so things are a bit closer to chaos than they generally are. But having that meal plan helps make one thing feel a bit more in control. I am hoping to keep in the habit of writing out meal ideas.

Ok, so I’ve been kind of comment-happy lately, but I had to tell you that I almost spit water all over my screen when I got to ‘Mmmmm. Fried chicken. Mmmmm. Pizza.’ Actually, your last several posts have kept me giggling or outright laughing! I just want to give you a hug (but not in a weird stalker-like way. More like a sisters-in-our-struggle way.)
