Today I:

Made bed.

Emptied dishwasher.

Swept kitchen.

Cleaned kitchen.

Checked bathrooms for clutter.

Did focused 5 minute pick-up.

Started a load of laundry, and put it in the dryer.

Last night I:

Put the load of laundry in the washer, ready to be started this morning.

Made lunches.

Put out the boys’ clothes for today.

Wiped down bathroom counters and toilets.

—————

Today I also vacummed and cleaned out my closet. Go me!

Good for you! After seeing a blog where people motivate each other for every step of projects, I decided to email my husband my daily accomplishments when he was away on travel. I found doing that definitely helped me feel that I was actually accomplishing something, rather than obsessing over my long unfinished part of the to-do list.

Thanks Dusa, yes it makes such a difference in my overall mindset when my house is in better order.

And Gel, that's a great idea. Having this blog has really helped me see how the little things add up and are worth it.
