For real.
The new year doesn’t actually start until routine starts, right?
We’ve spent this last evening before school begins sorting laundry, demolishing Laundry Mountain that happened while we were out of routine (post on that coming soon), cleaning the kitchen, and generally getting prepared for real life to restart in about 12 hours.
As part of the Decluttering Party this month, I’ll be hosting Google+ Hangouts each Thursday morning at 10 a.m. in January. You can watch live or later when it’s recorded.
Go here to R.S.V.P. and you’ll get a reminder (and a direct link) when it’s about to start.
And please leave any questions you have related to decluttering here in the comments on this post and I’ll be sure to (try to) answer them in the hangout.
Also, I’ve extended the discount code for my e-books through today, January 6th. Use the code 2014 to get individual e-books for $3 or the 2 e-book set (28 Days and Drowning in Clutter?) for $5.

I am with you!, I started back to work today, I had to run the routine of a work day through my head last night to make sure I didn’t forget anything….Kiddo is still snowed in so no school, that is when my REAL routine begins again.

I totally agree with you, 2014 starts today.
I’m back to work, hubby’s back to work, and a least one of the kids is back to school (other is chilling w/ Grandma today).
I had my lunch packed, clothes chosen, coffee pot on automatic and got out of the door on time! Woo Hoo!
I did forget to get the crock pot out of the fridge and plug it in this morning….but at least we have left-overs so we won’t be eating peanut butter on saltines for dinner. 🙂

YES! It starts when the routine starts or life gets back to “normal”. My daughter-in-law had the flu so I had the grandkids fall of last week. I didn’t get any end of the year or first of the year stuff done. I tried, but those darn kids think grandma’s job is to play with them. So now momma is feeling better and the kids are back home and 2014 starts TODAY!
