I’ve stayed in multiple homes lately, including a shipping container tiny home! That has made me think a LOT about what I want in a home and how to get there.

Hi friend. Ditto on your podcast 476. The limit of your container but also when the function of your chosen container design becomes disfunctional design. Our once upon a time functional new *furniture had contained stuff but most has become disfunctional as most has not stood up to the test of time. So I am in need of trading out 2 armoires, 2 glass front bookcases, and a pantry cupboard that are falling apart from poor wood *product designs. Solid wood made antiques obviously are well made furniture but yet our carved wood antique loveseat & matching chair need replacement due to needing to be professionally upholstered. Oof. And yes the size of our house, each room, & the present furniture must get a do over. So how I shop for the next thing to contain our useful daily stuff to solve all our *problems matters. And, lol, we need a fridge upgrade too but it’s not our top priority today. Btw your brain is great. Product sales pitches are mostly foolhardy tmi overload. We finally got a range upgrade. It was a process of getting ole broke stove out & the timing of getting replacement to fit the same space because the unique plug outlet location. Details matter greatly. So many variables of what the ‘stuff shuffling’ details. So yeh to ’embrace the reality of the space you do have’ covers quite a few details. Thank you for being you Dana. ✨Blessings. 🍁Happy Autumn! ☕🐕
