I’m answering some decluttering questions:
What about stuff that needs to stay out because that’s the only way I remember to use it?
My mother and her business have moved into my home. How do I help her?
What should I do about items that are oddly shaped and don’t fit in their “container”?
Can I count sewing as decluttering?

Re: vitamins/pills/supplements
I decant them into a pill organizer which sits out. And store their bottles in a bin (container) hidden away. I got a nice pill organizer from the online giant that has an external container that encloses the pill organizers. So it always looks neat and tidy.

I am the daughter of the sewing mother. Thank you for the help and guidance. A couple of weeks ago, Mom came to me and said she has determined that she can’t do the decluttering on her own and asked for my help. I have tried very hard to use your techniques, especially not to ask why. It is slow going (to not tire her or myself out I do 15-minute increments 2x a day), but 100 lbs! of fabric out the door last week is a vast improvement in just one small area of 1 of the 2 rooms she uses. Thanks again.
