Y’all, I’m exhausted!!
I mentioned this in the newsletter last week, but I was hesitant to talk much about it since I never believe cool things will happen until they actually happen. Especially with TV. Not that I have had experience, but I know people who have experience and you’re never guaranteed something will air until it airs!!
I was invited to share spring cleaning tips on ABC’s World News Now!!! That’s ABC’s middle-of-the-night news show.
It was so incredibly fun. The people at the show were as nice as they could possibly be, and my kids weren’t even embarrassed at how I did! (That’s a win!) The exhaustion part comes from the fact that they record World News Now in the middle of the night, and my segment was pre-recorded at about 11:30 p.m. That’s late for this likes-to-get-to-bed-early mama!
Here’s the segment, and go to this post to see links to most of the tips I mentioned.
Disclosure: I want to thank Rug Doctor for paying for my expenses to and from NYC to tape this segment, but I did not receive any compensation.

You did great on your segment! I loved your banter with the host, you were funny, and you looked super cute.
You are a star! Oh, and your hari looks awesome!
You did such a great job! I’m so glad you are getting more & more media exposure. I’m sure there are so many others out there who, like me, just needed to find the RIGHT person to explain things in a way that clicks for them. You totally changed my attitude about keeping my home clean and I can’t thank you enough for that! Keep doing what you’re doing, because you are the light in the dark for so many of us. Hugs!
You were great! Congrats!
Yay you! I would be incoherent at that time of the night lol. Well done! You seemed so confident too.
Congratulations! I am so excited for you. You were great! And I am so glad I found your blog. My house is slowly changing because I have found someone whose brain works like mine and that can break cleaning down in a way I can actually do it. Thank you so much.
So happy for you, you media mogul you!
Your daughter is a mini-you!
You were a total natural — unlike the show host who seemed very stiff. You shared some great tips, with humor and charm – and you looked lovely! Great job, Dana!!
That was so good! And your hair looks great!
I join, great job, Dana! You act very professional and share valuable tips.
