DFW Family Fun on New Year’s Eve

Those of you in DFW . . . if you’re looking for a family friendly way to ring in the New Year, Medieval Times is hosting a Family New Year’s Eve Extravaganza!

We went about a year ago, and it was truly an experience for my rough-and-tumble, joust-loving kids.  (They didn’t mind eating with their hands, either!)

If you’re looking for something special to do as a family for New Year’s Eve, it’s a great night to go.  The tickets are 35.95 for adults and 29.95 for kids.  Admission includes admission to the castle, the two hour live show (complete with knights, horses, princesses and real-live jousting), a four course feast.

But on Dec. 31, at 4:30, they’ll also have (for kids aged 5-12):

  • Free Knight Training
  • Free Face Painting
  • FREE Action Poster for Every Child

If you need more info, call 1-888-We-Joust or visit MedievalTimes.com.

(Please note that there is limited space available for Knight Training.  It’s first-come-first-served for kids ages 5-12.)

I received no monetary compensation for this post, but will receive four tickets to Medieval Times which I am excited to donate to a local fundraiser.

Oh Nony, I’ve arrived in your present. For the last month I have been reading your blog right from the start, bookmarking the last post I read each time i shut down my computer. It’s been a wonderful journey and I feel like I do when I discover a series of novels and read them one after the other, then get to the last one and have to wait for the author to publish a new one. Sort of sad and impatient at the same time.
I wish you and your lovely family a blessed Christmas and I look forward to following you in real time in the future.
