I love dishes.
Specifically, blue dishes.
Solid blue, blue and white, blue accented with some other color, some other color accented with blue.
Love ’em.
For the past few years though, I’ve started wondering if blue dishes weren’t quite the style anymore. (Wondering, because I didn’t care to research it.) But then, a few months ago, I saw that Target ad.
And my heart reached out for those blue dishes.
But do you know what the first thought was that went through my brain?
“Hmmmm, but which dishes would I get rid of so I could buy those?”
The FIRST thought. As in, my automatic reaction was a non-slob one.
This is big.

I remember when I came to that realization too!! What a huge step for it to be your first thought. I still try to stick to the one in one out. Although when I first started decluttering it was one in 3 out, then 2 out. Etc Way to go !!

Yay for you, Noni!! That’s huge!
(BTW, when I first typed your name, I type “Nomi” because that is what we call our middle child. ;P )

I’m impressed at the anti-slob impulse…I definitely do not have that skill yet!

Speaking of blue, white, and hearts, this is my favorite dish set I own: http://www.corelle.com/patterns/blue-hearts. I’m looking for smaller plates because I tend to fill up whatever dish I’m using. :-/ I’m hoping to find something that matches this set. (And then get rid of my extra sets.)

*The crowd roars its approval, the applause is thundering. The actress gasps in surprise, bashfully flutters her eyelashes and takes a bow.* This IS BIG, proof there is hope.
