Menu Plan for a Cold, Cold Week!

I’m having a hard time believing it, but hubby says it’s supposed to be extremely cold all next week.  As a person who dresses for yesterday’s weather because it never occurs to me to check the forecast, I have to take his word for it.

And since I’m going to try to head to the store before it gets crazy cold, I might as well make my menu now!

Monday – Taco Soup – Look for this recipe soon.  I didn’t make it last week, since I thought I had ro-tel . . . but didn’t after all.  Story of my cooking-life.

Tuesday – Beef Stroganoff – Didn’t make this last week either because after mixing the flour and sour cream . . . I saw a bug in the flour.  Don’t worry, the bug man will be coming this week.

Wednesday – Crock pot chicken over rice.  I’ll make extra rice for Thursday’s supper.

Thursday – Chicken Fried Rice

Friday – Out to Eat

Saturday – Quesadillas

Sunday – Home groups

Here’s hoping I don’t forget any important ingredients or find any bugs this week!

I’ll be linking this up over at OrgJunkie.com for Menu Plan Monday.

I am visiting you from MPM and LOVE the title of your blog. I'm a slob, too…but with 4 kids I'm starting to feel like I'm going a little crazy from not being organized. I'm working on it – slowly…I'm going to head on over to your main blog page and see what ideas you have! 🙂

Hope this week works out for you and that you try to stay warm. We are suppose to get slammed with snow tomorrow and I have to go to work. Not fun at all!

If it was a bole weevil (boll? not sure which spelling) the bug man won't help much. If it was a indian moth he can help some but…. No matter what it was it means you need to go pull out all of your cereals/grains/pet food and look for them. Something is infested and they are spreading. Now some products already come with the eggs in them so that is just ewwy and your screwed. LOL Last time I had pantry months I isolated them down to a pack of beignet mix my MIL brought us pack from LA.

PS I am a slob too! THankfully my hubby picks up after me most of the time. LOL

I am CONSTANTLY dressing for yesterday’s weather! Made me unreasonably happy to read this. I started trying checking the weather… and then woke from a half hour mind numbing phone tapping session – not helpful. But I’m learning to bring sweater’s everywhere, at least for the kids, no matter hiw hot it was yesterday. Thank you for this space and all the time and effort you have put into it.
