My Biggest Slob Fear . . . Or at Least One of Them

My heart pretty much stopped when I glanced at the daybed in my office and saw this little paw sticking out from under a pile.

One of my biggest slob-fears is finding something dead in a pile of clutter.

Thankfully, this was just one of the feet of the mink stole that was part of my costume for a 1940s era show that I was in last weekend.

It looks like a cat's paw, and we have two, so I would have thought it was a cat.
If you don't have cats in your house — YIKES! That WOULD be scary.

I found a dead mouse while going through totes in my garage this week.
But that's better than the time I found a live family of mice in one of those totes.

    Nope, no cats here!

Headmistress, all I can say is, "AAAAHHHHHH!"

We share that fear. I live in fear of the day one of my children disappear and I know I'll have to sift through the STUFF to find them.

This was hilarious. I just found your blog yesterday and I love it! This post reminds me I need to "tidy" the corner next to my bed.

My cousin, who needs to sign up for your blog, had a dead cat under her bed for 2 days before they realized it was missing.

I found a monster dead bug while cleaning up the breezeway recently. Does that count? Obviously it wasn’t as bad as a mouse or cat or mink, but I still didn’t want to touch it. 🙂
