There is officially no point to this post, other than that I loved the look on my husband’s only-a-little-surprised-because-we’ve-been-married-for-11-years-and-he-knows-I’m-always-up-to-something face when he came home to me glitzed up and stirring soup.
I was headed to a dress rehearsal after supper.
I guess it’s possible that you look like this every night cooking dinner.

You look fantastic! This picture reminds me of a 50's style 'handbook' for women I have. Archaic suggestions like 'change into a clean frock, fix your hair and lipstick and make his favourite cocktail (martini's are the preferred option). Who has time for all of that?
