Oh the irony.
I shared last weekend about my experience at the Savvy Blogging Summit. I went on and on about how much I learned. I trembled as I typed about how I was going to take advantage of opportunities here and there to monetize this blog.
And here we go. My first affiliate link (other than Swagbucks of course), and it’s for recordings of the Savvy Blogging Summit!
While these won’t help you get your house clean, if you blog, I can whole-heartedly endorse them. I was there. You might even hear my high-pitched laugh in the background. I scribbled notes furiously. I mouth-breathed as my brain started hurting from all of the info being shared.
This is useful stuff if you want to blog, you do blog, or even if blogging is old hat to you. I’ve been amazed to read other bloggers’ recaps of the summit and realize that this was no ordinary blogging conference. It was my first, so I didn’t know any different. It was all about education. The women who organized it were truly passionate about providing us with experts who know what it takes to take your blog to new heights.
You can download all of the sessions for only . . . 97 dollars. I’m being a little sarcastic there, because I’m not one to shell out 97 dollars without a lot of soul-searching and tears. But truly, it’s worth that.
You can also download single sessions for only 10 dollars each.
If you are clueless about the big bag world of Internet searches and how to compete in them, SEO Tips and Strategies will boggle your mind, but provide tons of info. This guy is awesome, loves what he does, and although he works for the big boys on their SEO, he spoke to us about optimizing our blogs like we were as important as his corporate clients.
I really enjoyed the Media Kit Workshop, and learned so much about the behind-the-scenes stuff that goes on when bloggers work with companies.
Law/Accounting will hurt your brain and make you wish you hadn’t listened, but you’ll still be glad you did. It’s stuff bloggers need to know.
Effective Monetization is great as well. Anything by J.D. Roth is fun to listen to, as he is pretty much what every blogger wants to be when they grow up.
If you blog, and feel loosey-goosey about it, strategic planning would be great. My blog is pretty focused, but I learned a lot in this one.
Basically, I love them all. If you do buy one/all of them, please use my affiliate link below, as I’ll get a nice percentage of the sale (but it will not increase your cost in any way).
