Today I:
Made bed.
Emptied dishwasher.
Swept kitchen.
Cleaned kitchen.
Made to do list.
Closed cabinet doors.
Did more than 5 minute focused pickup.
Checked bathrooms for clutter.
Vacuumed AND dusted. Vacuuming is my new weekly task for Friday, and I also dusted a little. I should probably make dusting a Friday job as well, but, as you know, I’m scared of commitment, so for now I’m just saying “probably should” instead of “will.”
Last night I:
Didn’t wipe down bathrooms.
Didn’t make lunches.
Didn’t put out clothes.
Did run the dishwasher.
Because of all the “didn’ts” I was behind this morning and all of my daily tasks took much longer than they should have.
I didn’t do the dishes last night. I am dreading facing them today, but I will do them this morning when the house has woken up. I DID get some really big items out of the house and shed though and that makes being behind on the dishes worth it.
