Qs&As about my new book: Procrastinators Get Stuff Done

August 20, 2026 By Dana White Leave a Comment

(opens in new tab)Thank you so much for the enthusiastic response to my announcement last week about my new book that will release on October 6th!

I received some questions, and thought I’d share their answers with everyone! They might be helpful to you as you determine whether you need this book!

Q: Is it similar to your other books for decluttering?

A: Procrastinators Get Stuff Done is not about decluttering. It’s about procrastination. I teach how to beat procrastination in all sorts of situations, from career to intimidating obligations to dreams and good intentions.

This is a new writing subject for me, but I gained the expertise to create my new Anti-Procrastination Process through my work as a Decluttering Teacher. I learned how to get started when facing daunting situations, how to get unstuck when I’m overwhelmed, and what to do when I find myself fizzling out on a task I need to finish. I’ve taken what I’ve learned and put it into strategies you can apply to any situation in which you procrastinate. If you’ve read all my other books but just can’t get started decluttering, it will help with that, too!

And of course, it’s me. If you like my writing style, you’ll like this book. While you might be scared to read a book about beating procrastination written by someone who is intimidating (because they’ve “got it all together”) you don’t have to worry about that with this book! I wrote this book from the perspective of a fellow-struggler who has figured things out and wants to help you.

As I shared before, my favorite description of this book is this: “Finally! A book about procrastination that relieves pressure instead of adding it!”

Q: Help! I don’t see the option to pre-order the Kindle or Audible versions?

A: These versions are available for preorder! Without being able to see what you’re seeing, the most likely reason you’re not seeing the option to pre-order is that your phone opened up the link from my email directly in the Amazon app. Many times, digital products are not available to be purchased within the Amazon app. I don’t fully understand, but I believe it has something to do with the app store charging commission for digital purchases, so Amazon just removes that option. If you open up amazon.com(opens in new tab) in your browser, and search for the book directly, you should see the option to purchase a digital version of the book.

Q: Does this book have illustrations? I’m trying to decide whether to get hardcover or Kindle version.

A: No illustrations in this book.

Q: Is it too late to order the book today to still get the freebies??

A: No! You can order up until October 5th, the day before it releases! Though, as a procrastination expert, I would encourage you to order today so you don’t have to remember to do it later!

Q: Apple Books (or wherever) doesn’t give me an order number! What do I do!!

A: Send us a screenshot of your order and my assistant will give you a special code to put in the order information slot.

Q: Can I order a signed book?

A: Yes! I’ve partnered with a Dallas area book store to offer these! Go here to purchase.  (opens in new tab)

Q: Upon release, will it be available IN-STORE (say, for example, at Target, Walmart)?

A: It will be in bookstores that order it! Barnes and Noble and Books-a-Million, etc. should have copies, but how many they order will depend on how well they predict it will sell. They’ll predict according to pre-order numbers. (Learn more here.)  Target and Walmart are very hard to get into as they do not have very large book areas. When my books have been in these stores in the past, it is usually part of some sort of temporary marketing agreement with my publisher. Both these stores do sell copies online, though.

Q: Is a paperback version planned?

A: Paperback versions are released if a hardback version sells well enough that the publisher has reason to believe the book will continue to sell well in paperback. My guess is that a paperback release would happen a minimum of a year after the initial hardcover release.

Q: Can you share the table of contents at this time?

A: I’m sure it will be available as a preview on Amazon at some point soon.

Q: How do I get the pre-order bonuses?

A: There are two steps!

Step One: Order the book from any retailer. We have several retailers listed on this page with direct links to the book. (opens in new tab)(But you can order from anywhere!)

Step Two: Fill out the information on this page to claim your bonuses(opens in new tab). You’ll immediately receive the excerpt of the book via email, and you’ll get another email on September 1st with the other bonuses!

In case you missed last week’s email, you can see what was in it here(opens in new tab).

If you pre-order today (wherever you like to buy books), fill out the form linked on this page(opens in new tab) to claim your pre-order bonuses:

  • You’ll immediately get an email with the first chapter of the book!
  • We’ll send you access to four exclusive procrastination strategy sessions in which I lead people through my Anti-Procrastination Process in their own procrastination situation. These recordings will be available, exclusively for pre-orderers, in audio, video and written form on Sept 1.
  • You’ll get invited to a “pre-orderers only” book club which will begin after the book is released.

You can only get these pre-order bonuses by filling out the form linked on this page(opens in new tab)! The bonuses are all digital and are not provided by the retailer, but by me!
