I discovered your podcast & blog about 3-4 months ago, after listening to a podcast by April and Eric Perry from LearnDoBecome.
You could be my doppelganger, except I don’t have children.
I’ve read your blog posts for 2009, and have made a conscious decision not to read any more, so I’ve gone back to the start again.
I’m having a lot more lightbulb moments.
1. Do the dishes!! It doesn’t matter what my situation is, doing the dishes EVERYDAY matters.
2. Do SOMETHING, instead of thinking what needs to be done
3. Learn the basics first – commit them to muscle memory. (I loved you tap dancing analogy)
So today I:
•Did all the dishes (there wasn’t a lot considering its been a number of days, but it was a full drainer load)
•Folded the clean laundry and put it all away
• Made the bed
So many more things to do, but I’m happy with this.
