My Mother's Day Gift of Clean from Scotch-Brite and My Kids! at ASlobComesClean.com

For Mother’s Day, Scotch-Brite sent me the Gift of Clean!

A big ol’ box full of cleaning supplies in cute colors arrived at my door! If you’re thinking cleaning supplies would be the worst Mother’s Day gift ever, don’t worry! They weren’t for me to use.

They were for my KIDS!

Here’s the video we made that shows them finding out what was in the box and cleaning the kitchen:

This was so fun. We had fun making the video and the kids even had fun cleaning. They focused on working in the kitchen where Hubby had made a rather large mess cooking waffles for breakfast!

Cleaning IS more fun when you have new tools to use. My daughter loved the bright colors (especially the bright pink Zebra lint roller) and my oldest son liked the handiness of the soap dispensing dishwand.

It’s also more fun to clean when making a video . . .

I . . . sat on the couch and drank my icewater when I wasn’t running the video camera! I love my clean kitchen! And I totally love those crazy kids!

This post and video is sponsored by Scotch-Brite. They provided the cleaning products and are compensating me for my time spent on this project. The opinions and experiences are all mine, though!

You’re kids are just the cutest! I bet you had a great time watching them clean up for you. I think I need some of those cloth/sponge/scrubbers!

We LOVE watching your videos! My boys loved the Mother’s day video and wanted to watch it twice…well more, but I just let them watch it twice. Thank you for sharing your journey with us and encouraging us along the way! You are super!

That was adorable. My favorite was the resigned “okay” from the oldest boy. 🙂 Thanks for sharing. They are sweet.

Loved it. And what a great Mother’s Day gift! Now if I could get my own kids to do the same… 😀

By the way I am reading your blog from the very beginning and now it’s much more slowly as I don’t have a nursing baby anymore! I am that person that doesn’t actually have a terribly messy house but with the encouragement I received her and the podcast I have gotten rid of so many things and my house doesn’t explode like it used to. I love your humor although most times I don’t understand why you don’t throw away more stuff. I have always been able to throw things away with no regrets! All that to say I still enjoy reading and like I said it has helped me recognize my clutter threshold!
