No Menu Plan This Week – And The E-Book Winners

The kids are going to be gone several nights this week.  I know I’ll miss them terribly, but am glad they’re getting in some “grandma time” before the school year starts.

Soooo, I’m not planning a menu.

Because I plan to take advantage of the week-full-of-date-nights.

So I’ll use this post to tie up a few loose ends –

1. The winners of the Feast in 15 e-book are:

Erin, who said – My four-month old refuses to be put down – I need some 15-minute ideas, for sure!
and Amy, who said – I’d love to win a book like this–summer’s at a end and I need to quick meals when school/work start back!
Erin and Amy, Tiffany has already e-mailed you your copy of Feast in 15!  Be sure to check your spam if you didn’t receive it.
And if you didn’t win, you can still grab a copy for yourself for only 4.99!  I made the meatball gyros last week, and they were a huge hit.  I was amazed that everyone, including all of my kids, loved them.  And they were done in LESS than fifteen minutes!
I timed it.
I started the clock after I gathered up the ingredients (since I knew she might not have factored in extra time for people who can never find things).   With time left on the clock, dinner was ready.
I’ll definitely put these on our regular menu rotation.

2. What to expect around here for the rest of August:

In the quiet moments I have this week, I plan to write several posts about the Realities vs. the Delusions of the new phase of life I’ll soon enter.  Look for those to be spread out over the next two weeks.  I’ll be back to daily blogging after that, starting on August 22nd.

enjoy the free time, mine have been gone for 5 days now, I miss them bunches but it is seriously nice to actually do something with the hubby this weekend(heading to a movie in a bit, something that’s usually a no go on a Sunday night!)

Enjoy your week off! Hubs and I just recently had some child-free time. Felt like we were on a 2nd honeymoon 🙂
