Feeling a Little Better

Just got back from a late-night haircut and color. Nothing perks up a girl like getting her roots done. It’s also a biggie checked off the list of things I wanted to do before going on vacation/Savvy Blogging Summit.

I worked hard on getting laundry folded, and made a lot of progress. Completing that task will go a long way in making me feel like I’m not just spinning my wheels.

Came home from my haircut to find that hubby had cleaned the kitchen and started the dishwasher. Love that man!

I also thought I’d share a funny story. If you hadn’t noticed, I’m a big bad dot com now! One advantage of this is that my blog is accessible to more people since many workplace/school networks block anything with blogspot in the name. So now, hubby can check my blog at work. He’s read individual posts before that I wanted him to read, but he has never checked it regularly. The poor guy came home all excited about having Chicken Fried Rice tonight . . . only to find that I’d changed my mind. He’d read my menu plan! I guess I need to stick to the plan a little more carefully now that one of my readers has a personal interest in it.

Just curious…how did you make it a dot com? I’ve played around with the idea for a blog, but I don’t know how it works. Did you have to buy the domain name?
