Over the course of my deslobification process, I’ve realized that my extreme frugality was part of the problem. I’ve been thinking a lot about how my definition of value has changed so much, so we’re talking about it this week.

I’m curious now, what is the brand of purse/travel bag you purchased, Dana?
By the way I’m so glad you’re back now after the summer break!

This episode once again reminded me, how much time you’ve saved me over the years, so i had to leave a comment. When I started listening like 250 episodes ago, I very often identified with things you said about about how you used to think and be and now, few years later I am not yet 30 and I very often identify with how you think and do things now and I realize how many years of blood sweat and tears you have saved me by breaking things down and explaining them, giving them names and going into ridiculous depth about purses, scarves and books and pans so that I didn’t have to figure it all by myself. You might as well have saved my relationship. So I wanted to thank you. What you do is amazing and you suffering through all your cheap purses and e-bay stuff and all that wasn’t wasted. 😉😁 Just wanted to let you know.

This was incredibly helpful. My issue isn’t purses, but it’s bags – paper & plastic, all shapes and sizes from the store. They were filling my broom closet to the point of not being functional, as in neither the space nor the bags. I just finished getting rid of and organizing them. I probably still have too many, but the space is manageable, and I can live with it and come back to it later.
