Giveaway: $100 Container Store Giftcard!!!

I am sooo excited about this giveaway!  Ebates is providing a $100 e-giftcard to The Container Store for for one lucky winner here at A Slob Comes Clean!

The Container Store!  It’s like a candy store for people who dream of having an organized home!

And have you seen their wrapping paper?  It’s gorgeous.

And . . . if you shop online through Ebates, you get 4% cash back!  If you’re not familiar with Ebates, it’s a site I’ve been using for years.  Anytime you shop online, just head over there and find the store where you’re planning to shop.  They’ll have available coupon codes right there for you to use, and when you go to shop through their link, you get the additional cash back credited to your account after your purchase.

Different stores have different cash back rates.  Cashback payments go out each quarter.  It’s a great way to save even more on your online shopping, and that quarterly payment by check or paypal is a really nice surprise!

  1. Well . . . first just leave a comment and tell me if you’ve ever shopped at The Container Store and if you found anything you loved.
  2. For a second entry, sign up for Ebates through my referral link and leave another comment saying you did.  (If you’re already a member of Ebates, you can have that second entry too!)

Oh, and the e-giftcard can also be used in the stores!  (But if you use it online and go through Ebates, you’ll get that 4% cashback!)

    The Container Store has products you need to help unclutter your home. I purchased an under the cabinet trash can (didn’t even realize there was such a thing!) for our smallish master bathroom. My precious husband even noticed how efficient and space saving it was.

    I love the container store! My favorite store on earth. I love the Tellfresh food containers. And I got a couple iPhone extra battery chargers there that have made iPhone usage so much better!

    I LOVE LOVE LOVE the container store!!! I have purchased 4 acrylic DVD storage containers and will probably purchase more for the rest of my DVDs. I bought some stocking stuffers last year – the cord wraps for my husband and I. I use them almost every day! I just wish there was a container store here in Reno.

    Love the container store! My partner has a giant stack of magazines that lived under the bed, and when we switched bed frames I wanted them a little better contained. Container store had folding milk crates that fit the magazines and under the bed frame perfectly! Plus they had a laundry organizer system that I liked, although I ended up buying a different one at Lowe’s instead because it was cheaper and had more flexibility. But mostly I just like to go around the container store and drool over all the organizational things I could have. If only money and time were infinite!

    My very favorite item from the Container Store is this simple plastic basket in the shape of a long narrow rectangular prism. It’s special for its form and function. It nestles into a little nook on the landing of my basement stairs tucked away but strangely accessible. Accessible is important because it’s the designated kitchen laundry landing spot. Now whenever a rag or dish towel is dirty it sails down the steps into the basket no longer sitting on the counter tempting people to wipe dishes or children with a filthy cloth. Then on laundry day I just carry it the other half of the way to the basement (one handed) and dump it into the machine and stick it back into the designated spot on my way back up the steps. I think the selection at the Container Store is what made it possible to find a basket that fits into that unusual space, and I think the approximately $10 price tag has bought me huge quantities of domestic joy and satisfaction. As a sloppy perfectionist this is exactly the type of thing that warms my heart. I know you all will understand.

The one thing I bought I love is a jewelry organizer. I put all my earrings and rings in it and use it everyday. It was on clearance when I got it. Only $5!!! What a bargain!

    I love the Clear Plast-O-Mat® Ribbed Shelf Liner that I bought at the Container Store. May seem a little expensive but does NOT disintegrate and stick to your shelves; you can put the ribbed side up so that if you put something slightly damp on it, it will dry; it feels substantial; and IT IS MADE IN THE USA!!!!!!

    I have the best glass storage containers on my kitchen counter from the Container Store! I got them after I realized that no one ever put the oatmeal or cereal away anyway, so I may as well just store it in a nice container on the counter with a scoop for serving. Has worked out amazingly well. Counter looks less cluttered, I can see at a glance when we’re low on cereal or oatmeal, kids can serve themselves just the right amount with the scoop….if you can’t beat ’em, join ’em!

    The Container Store has so many wonderful items! The item I remember best is a very large pill container for my husband’s many pills. It was perfect. There is an amazing selection of wrapping items too. Beautiful stuff.

    oh my gosh! I love Container Store. I drool when I visit there. It’s about a 1/2 hr. away, so I only go maybe once a year, but love it! My favorite thing I’ve ever gotten there is my key chain. Yup! It has all these little rings and they are detachable by a little slider thing, so you’re not trying to get the circles apart, kwim? Love it!

    I have a few storage things that I love from The Container Store but my favorite purchase was (and is) a set of 4 stackable kids plastic chairs. They come in so handy! At the time they were just $8 each and worth every single penny.

    I really like The Container Store! I haven’t shopped there in ages, because I have a hard time exercising my self-control there. I think the last thing I bought was a really cool spinning spice organizer, which I currently need to refill. Thanks for the give away!

    I love the Container Store! When I was “nesting” during my first pregnancy I was on their site every couple of days. Our location has a drive up service. I order on-line and someone brings it out to my car. My favorite purchase from there is my laundry drying rack. No more laying wet laundry across the backs of chairs. Another favorite is a leftovers container with a divider. I can stick an entire meal in one container and send it with my husband for lunch the next days without food running together.

    Yes, I’ve shopped at The Container Store before…mostly just drooling! I did buy some reasonably priced skirt hangers that have lasted beautifully, which is a rare find!

    Never shopped at the container store, does sound fun though. I used to watch that show called “Clean House” and the organizer frequently referenced the store. Love to try them out, I do enjoy nice containers.

    I’ve been to The Container Store, but never actually bought anything, because I hear you’re supposed to declutter before buying storage containers. But I have drooled over their stuff for years!!! Slowly but surely, I will declutter enough to warrant nice storage containers…right?

    I love The Container Store! It truly is like a candy store for me. 🙂 I love their clear containers. I never realized how important it is to be able to see into the container from the top, plus they stack so nicely.

    I’ve been a loyal Container Store customer for decades; every closet has been redone in elfa components and a couple of closets have been outfitted in all 4 generations of elfa style shelving — only the past two were compatible/interchangeable with each other. The rest of the house, a very tiny one at that, has been accessorized with numerous Container Store items, from kitchen sink gadgets to shower hanging storage, to storage containers for my sewing fabric & yarn stashes. Currently I need to modify a hallway area to accommodate more coat hanging — a Container Store shelf and hooks would be perfect for that project!
