Note: I now have the first three years of the blog available in e-book form. If you want to purchase them together, go here.
Thousands of people have read A Slob Comes Clean from start to finish. (Not that it will ever be actually finished.) I’ve always recommended reading the blog backward to anyone who feels completely overwhelmed and needs to see the day by day process of this deslobification thing I’m doing.
After repeated requests, I’ve put Year One of the blog into e-book form!
With your purchase, you will receive two files. One is the PDF, and the other (that ends in .mobi) is a file formatted for the Kindle. The PDF can be read on your computer or any device. If you would like to read this on your Kindle, go here for instructions. Please note that this e-book is NOT available to purchase from Amazon. (See the instructions before you purchase if you’re not sure how that works.)
The cost of the e-book is $15. (Don’t forget that you can read all of year one for free here on the website!)
Advantages to reading the e-book instead of the website:
You can read offline. Read it on your laptop, your tablet, or your Kindle. (Here’s how to send it to your Kindle). No need to be connected to the internet. If you’ve always wanted to read backwards, but haven’t had the time, this will allow you to read while on a plane or a road trip for the summer.
You can print one copy for your own use. But if you do . . . you’ll need a WHOLE lot of paper. I was pretty wordy that first year and the e-book is over 800 pages long.
Disadvantages to reading the e-book instead of the website:
Money. Reading the website backwards is totally free. Buying the e-book isn’t.
You can immediately see the comments from other readers on each post. In the e-book, there is a link to the comments for each post, but you have to click back to the website to read them or leave your own.
Other things you should know:
(And other examples of why I should never try to have a career in sales:)
I started ASlobComesClean.com in 2009. I didn’t know what I was doing. This was back before . . . Pinterest. Really. Pictures were an afterthought and I just chugged along writing whatever came to mind.
You probably know this, but I’ve come a LONG way since this first year. It’s now five years later, and I’m still Slob Blogging. My hope is that by reading my successes and failures of that first year in “real time,” you can see that real change is possible, even though it isn’t quick or easy.
I’m just as shocked (and slightly horrified) as you are that this e-book is over 800 pages long and almost 200,000 words.
I have another e-book available: Teaching Kids to Clean. I have also written two other books – For detailed guides, check out my books: How to Manage Your Home Without Losing Your Mind and Decluttering at the Speed of Life.
