It’s Friday night, and I’m only posting because of my Daily in December promise.
Honestly, the promise is serving its purpose. I can find soooo many reasons to not do my Daily Checklist on these December days, but that commitment makes me do it, and the house looks so much better because I do.
Today, I made my bed.
Then, I left for most of the day to decorate gingerbread houses, go grocery shopping, eat lunch with one of my kids at school, run errands, etc.
Then . . . I cleaned the kitchen, checked bathrooms for clutter, shut cabinet doors, swept the kitchen, and did a five-minute pick-up.
Not with a smile on my face, but I did it.
Now for the randomness, I thought I’d share some links to other things I’ve written around the web lately. I’m now writing at the About One blog, and my first post there was on Preparing for a Christmas Road Trip.
I also wrote another What’s in Store? post over at All You’s website. It’s about a new top I snagged on sale. I got it to wear when I speak.
Did you get that? I speak. If you’re in the DFW area and need a speaker, check out my speaking page! I’ve added information about topics.
Last bit of randomness?
It’s mega-Swagbucks Friday, and I also got an email today explaining how their “Swagbucks Tasks” work. Here’s what it said, “”Tasks are an opportunity to do specific actions (called “jobs”) and earn Swagbucks based on performance, accuracy and time spent. You can even bank the Swag Bucks you earn from a task if you have to stop in the middle and come back later. Once your task meter is filled up, cash out and watch your Swag Buck total increase!”
This is one of the ways that some people max out their Swagbucks earnings each day and earn mega-stuff. One that I tried out was fact-checking, grammar-checking a question/answer pair. Definitely worth playing around with!
Please note that grammar-checking this blog gets you NOTHING.
Also, I was redeeming my Swagbucks for Amazon gift cards the other day . . . and noticed that they have lots of other giftcards that I hadn’t seen before. Like Chili’s.
I know I post about Swagbucks a lot, and yes I do love having referrals, but it’s also truly one of the best, easiest, legit ways of saving up for Christmas and getting fun stuff just by searching the internet like you usually do It also provides the opportunity for you to actually earn stuff from home!
The Amazon and Swagbucks links are my referral links!
