I’ve moved!

It’s exciting, and I can’t wait to have people see my new place, but just like with any real move, things are a little crazy around here.

I am trying to get things into place, but it may take a little time. Please bear with me as I work on that.

My main concern right now is that there isn’t a “newer post” button at the bottom of the individual posts for those of you reading backwards. I have a special spot in my heart for the people who are in that phase, so I’m working hard to figure out how to do that. I hope to have it fixed soon.

Also, I’m not sure why comments are being moderated, but am guessing that it may just be moderating the first comment you leave here. So, leave lots of them and we’ll find out together! And in case you’re looking around for a place to comment, the button to click is at the top right now.

Whew! Moving is exhausting!

Welcome to WordPress! Looks great! My blog is on WordPress, and you are right that the first comment goes to moderation and then you are good to go from there. I found that when I first started, I got a bunch of real comments in my spam filter, and then it seemed to get smarter about that after a couple of months. Hope that helps!

I am in the middle of reading backwards and I was a little freaked out by the change. It’s a little more inconvenient now, but doable. Thanks for everything!

Oh Shanna, I’m so sorry that it’s more inconvenient. I am trying to figure out how to add the thing that will make it easier!

I’ve been reading your blog now for quite some time but don’t believe I have ever commented. I must say you inspire me and I constantly find myself cheering you on. I struggle with clutter and recently wrote my first blog about it. Today I did my first blog on my daily cleaning project (which was also inspired by you). I must say that I found that posting before and after pics was much more difficult than I ever imagined. I don’t think I’ve EVER found it so difficult to push that publish button as I did on that blog today. Whew!

Congrats on the move and I look forward to continuing to read about your progress.

Hi! I love your blog! I’m reading backwards at the moment and wondering- is it possible to make it so that when I click on “September 2009,” that I can see all of the post names for that month? Thanks!

It looks fantastic here! I was currently reading backwards and was a bit freaked out when it started telling the pages didn’t exist anymore. Let us know on any progress you make on reading backwards. Right now it might be a bit too inconvenient for this slob, but I plan on reading your current posts though for motivation!
