I didn’t post a summer update last week.
Last week was crazy. VBS happened. VBS stands for Vacation Bible School and it’s my kids’ favorite week of the year.
But my house doesn’t stand a chance in that week.
I declared today House Cleaning Day. There were no cheers of excitement, but I didn’t care.
It was bad.
Real bad.
So bad that pre-blog, I might not have even tried. But I do now understand the benefit of doing something. Doing anything.
We cleaned the kitchen, sorted laundry, demolished Clean Laundry Mountain, removed last weekend’s (or was it the weekend before?) Movie Night Setup from the living room.
We put down the trundle that’s been up in my daughter’s room since friends spent the night back in May.
We sorted and picked up and generally made the place look like a real house.
And I feel ever-so-much better now.

AND I want to be sure you see the Swagbucks sign-up code that was created especially for you, MY readers! I saw the Swagbucks guy at the blogging conference I attended recently and he emailed me last week with a code that will give all new sign-ups an extra 70 swagbucks when you sign up! With the 30 you normally get, that means new users can start out with 100 swagbucks!!
If you’re confused about what in the world Swagbucks is, read my explanation here but be sure to use the special code I share below! I absolutely love using it and have earned Amazon gift cards to put toward our Christmas budget every year for the past three years.
Now, before I tell you the code, PLEASE look at this screenshot I took. I love Swagbucks, but I don’t love how easy it is to miss the place to enter the code! You have to click on “I have a sign-up code” before you click “Get started” to move to the next page.
After you click “I have a sign up code” you can enter COMECLEAN to get your bonus sign-up Swagbucks.
Click here to sign up now through my referral link!
The special code is valid through Sunday, July 7. The code has been extended through the 14th!!

Just tried signing up and the code is invalid, does it activate tomorrow??

Nevermind, you have to type it in all caps, which I thought I had done but apparently the n was lowercase.
