It’s Friday!!! One more week of school!!!

If you’re starting to wonder about things to do with the kids this summer, it’s a good idea to sign up for some Daily Deals sites right now so you can start snagging some fun deals for your family.
Every day they send you an email with some sort of great rock-bottom deal specifically for your area. Sometimes it’s for an ice-cream shop, sometimes it’s for a museum, sometimes it’s for window-cleaning, or sporting events, or mini-golf.
Really, there are all sorts of deals through these types of sites. We live in a non-huge area, so great stuff for the kids is a little more rare, but they do exist. My best friend lives in a larger area, and she does these all of the time. She (being more organized than me) prints hers out immediately and keeps them in order of expiration. Most deals don’t expire for quite a while after their purchase.
Some of my favorites are (Click on their names and you’ll go to the site through my referral link):
Mamapedia (Today’s deal for DFW is half price housecleaning! Yes, please!)
Living Social
If you sign up, you’ll get the emails and be able to grab great deals that come up for your area. (And if you sign up through my link, I’ll get a credit after you make your first purchase!)

Isn’t ‘de-slobing’ about *not* buying stuff?? You save a lot more when you spend $0… at least that’s my philosophy to bargain hunting.
